The best-converting listings on CardSeeker share three things: clear photos, honest condition, and a price that reflects what similar cards inside our marketplace have sold for.
Photos
Upload at least four photos per listing:
- Front, straight-on, in good light. Not sunlight (glare), not phone torch.
- Back, same conditions.
- All four edges — one photo of each edge is fine, or one macro shot of any corner damage.
- Grader label if graded, cropped so the cert number is readable.
If you already have your card listed elsewhere, you can bring your existing photos over from your own listing during the Sell wizard's import step. You attest that you own them; we require it and log the attestation.
Titles
Titles that convert follow the pattern
Player · Year · Set · Card # · Grade. Example:
Luka Doncic · 2018-19 Panini Prizm · #280 · PSA 10
Search on CardSeeker matches on all of those, so a well-formed title is found by anyone looking for the card in any of those five ways.
Pricing
- Look at active listings for the same card first. Filter by grade and set.
- Look at the internal marketplace average when it shows on the card page. It will only appear when we have at least two similar completed deals.
- Never quote "market value" from an outside source in your description. We do not use eBay sold comps or any external price API, and neither should you.
- Your price is your ask. You can revise it any time before a deal is agreed.
After you publish
Your listing goes to a short review first. It shows as Under review on your listings page and buyers cannot see it yet. Once a team member approves it, it goes live: it appears in the marketplace, on your storefront, and in the searches of anyone with a matching saved search. If it is not approved, you will see the reason in plain words on the same page.
