1. Data We Collect
We collect the minimum data needed to operate the marketplace: email address, country, listing information, offer messages, direct messages between members, and payment records for subscriptions. We do not collect or store payment card details. Stripe handles all billing.
2. Verified Seller KYC
For the Verified Seller badge, we collect identity documents (ID, selfie, address proof). These are stored in encrypted private storage, visible only to our admin review team. They are deleted upon account closure.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to operate your account, process subscriptions, show your listings, and prevent fraud. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Where a message is reported to us, or we are investigating abuse or a safety concern, authorised staff may read the messages involved. That is the only reason we open them. We do not read your direct messages otherwise, and we do not scan them to build a profile of you or to target advertising.
4. Cookies and Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous usage tracking (no cookies required). We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
5. Data Retention
Account data is retained until you close your account. Closing your account deletes your profile, your direct messages, and your KYC documents. Records of completed deals, the reviews left on them, the offers that priced them, and the listings they were struck on are kept with your name removed, because they are the other party's trading history. Aggregated analytics data has no expiry.

You may request deletion of your data by contacting support@cardseeker.io. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
